Our Food Service Department is committed to providing quality meals, supporting student wellness, and creating positive dining experiences for our school community. Through generous grants and partnerships, we continue to enhance our programs, improve equipment, and create engaging opportunities for students.

Hot Chocolate Milk Grant
Supported by Massachusetts dairy farmers, helping enhance student meal experiences.

2023
Massachusetts School Meals for All Initiative
Massachusetts enacted the School Meals for All initiative through the state budget, providing universal free school meals for all students.

2022–2023
$4,000 School Breakfast Participation Improvement Grant
Project Bread — Supporting efforts to increase student participation in school breakfast.

$20,000 School Nutrition Equipment Assistance Grant
USDA-funded and administered by DESE — Supporting improvements to food service equipment and operations.

2021–2022
$1,500 School Meal Support Grant
Project Bread — Supporting school meal access and participation.

$2,500 Breakfast Back to School Grant
Project Bread — Encouraging breakfast participation and student engagement.

$5,225.14 School Nutrition Equipment Assistance Grant
USDA/DESE — Supporting food service equipment needs and improvements.

2021
$1,089 COVID-19 Rapid Response Grant
Project Bread – The Walk for Hunger, Inc. — Supporting food service operations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019
Growth Grant
MySchoolBucks & Heartland — Supporting cafeteria taste testing initiatives and student engagement programs. Award amount varied.

2018–2019
Fuel Up to Play 60 Initiative
New England Dairy & Food Council in partnership with the NFL — Awarded over $10,000 to support student wellness, nutrition education, and engagement initiatives.
