Bus Transportation Information 2025-2026

Transportation services are provided free of charge to families from Kindergarten thru 6th grade, who reside greater than 2 miles from school.  In order to set up bus stops, please fill out attached bus form if you require busing for you student(s).

Families in grades K thru 6 residing less than 2 miles from school and all students in grades 7 thru 12 are required to pay for busing. To assign your child's bus stop we need the attached form filled out and payment made.  You can pay online using Unipay or you can mail in a check with form to: East Bridgewater School Department, 143 Plymouth Street, East Bridgewater, Ma  02333.

COST FOR BUSING:

1st student is $250.00 with a family cap of $400.00 for 2 or more students. Payment is due by July 19, 2025.  After July 19th cost is $275.00 with family cap of $425.00

FEE WAIVER POLICY:

With the implementation of the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for school year 2025-2026 fee waivers for athletics, busing, music, etc. will be based on Direct Certification only.

CEP is a USDA program that allows school districts to serve all students in eligible schools a free breakfast or lunch.

Direct Certification is the process under which School Districts certify children who are members of households receiving assistance from SNAP, TANF/TAFDC or FDPIR, as eligible for free meals without further application. Direct certification is based on information provided by the state agencies administering the SNAP, TANF/TAFDC and FDPIR programs. 

All families who are Direct Certified will receive a letter and a Community Eligibility Provision Sharing Form from the East Bridgewater Public Schools Food Service Department.

In order to determine if a family is Direct Certification and qualifies for a fee waiver families must fill out and return the Community Eligibility Provision Sharing Form. The Food Service Department cannot share your Direct Certification status with any other department without this form.
